Alan is currently chairman of Trustees of Morris Feinmann Home. He was previously chairman of the Manchester Jewish Forum, which represents all Jewish welfare organisations in Greater Manchester.Alan is a Mechanical Engineering (BSc) graduate of the University of Manchester and former chairman of the North West Region of the Institute of Management Consultancy. He has over 40 years’ experience as a management consultant and was a senior partner with Urwick Orr until 1983, when he became a director of Profile Consulting Group. In 1986, he was appointed managing director of Profile and operated as chief executive until he retired in 2007. |
Helen Lister |

Helen qualified as a pharmacist in 1963. She spent several years working in retail and hospital pharmacy before going on to run her own community pharmacy in Manchester from 1981 to 1999. It was here where she gained experience working with nursing homes. Helen was appointed a trustee of Morris Feinmann Home in August 2000. She served as vice-chairman of the trustees from 2001 to 2003 and as chairman of the board of trustees from November 2003 to November 2009. She now works closely with Alan Wilkins as deputy chair of Morris Feinmann. |

Amanda is a consultant in psychological medicine at Hope Hospital and a member of the board of trustees of Morris Feinmann Home. She chairs the care committee, which is responsible for setting and maintaining care standards and providing support and guidance to the manager and care staff. |

Ian Paul is a property investor and joins our committee to advise on property development and future strategies. Ian is a firm believer in supporting Jewish facilities across Manchester and is committed to promoting Morris Feinmann Home to younger members of the Jewish community. |

Stephen joined us after an impressive 35-year legal career at Cobbetts Solicitors. As well as being a trustee for Morris Feinmann, Stephen will continue his work as chair of the charity Disabled Living and acting as a part-time legal mediator for Quilter. |

Charles has been a volunteer of the Prince’s Trust for the last 10 years and won the North West Mentor of the Year Award in 2003. Having always been very involved in assisting the Jewish community, Charles became a trustee of Morris Feinmann Home in 2007. He is also currently treasurer of the South Manchester Synagogue. |
Jonathan Sugarman |

Jonathan is a chartered accountant with forty years experience in both industry and the profession. He is a partner in the Manchester city centre firm Lewis Alexander & Connaughton, dealing with a varied and interesting client base of predominantly small and medium sized family businesses. Jonathan became the treasurer of Morris Feinmann Home in 2000 and, whilst keeping an eye on the finances, he thoroughly enjoys working with the residents, staff and volunteers. |
