Nursing Care

Morris Feinmann Home is regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Our fully trained nursing staff meet the requirements of a registered care home. Where appropriate, 24-hour nursing care is provided.

In order to always achieve high standards of care, staff training is an ongoing process. Our team of nurses and carers can work closely with the GP of your choice.

Each resident’s routine is documented in a Care Plan that is regularly monitored and updated. Every resident has a designated care worker who assesses his or her individual needs, providing one-to-one care support.

Respite care is also offered, meeting the needs of those caring for loved ones at home on a long-term basis or caring for those who have been ill or in hospital.

District nurses, physiotherapists, chiropodists, dentists and opticians all visit the Home regularly and, on request, more holistic therapies – such as massages and aromatherapy – can also be arranged.

Chai Cancer Care

Chai Cancer Care offers a weekly, fully confidential service and operates from two specially refurbished rooms at the Morris Feinmann Home.

The charity provides one-to-one counselling, massage, reflexology and acupuncture to cancer patients and their families.
